River. Take a guided 45-minute tour (English language tours are frequent; limited tours
in several other languages) of the facility and you'll get to see the General Assembly,
where the annual fall convocation of member nations takes place, the Security Council
Chamber (depending on schedules) and also the Economic & Social Council Chamber.
There is a park to the south of the complex which is home to several sculptures with a
peace theme. The visitors' gate entrance is at a temporary location until 2015, while the
UN headquarters is undergoing renovation works; guided tours are slated to continue, but
expect changes to access and tour availability.

mouse will play your selection on one of the library's computer screens. A comfy theater
