GAA Museum - Croke Park
Dubliners have always been known for their love of sports. The GAA (Gaelic Athletic
Association) Museum founded the 19th century, was created to foster the development of
“hurling” or the Irish Field . It showcases their love for this game by exhibition galleries
illustrating the story of Gaelic games from ancient times to the present day. There is a
vast collection of sporting artifacts which include hurleys, jerseys, trophies, medals, pro-
grammes, publications and banners. You may even test your hurling and football skills in
the interactive games zone.
Croke Park on the other hand, is the iconic stadium which serves as the heart of Irish sport-
ing life for over 100 years. This sports arena has been the venue of many Irish national
hurling and Gaelic football games.
