Step 11:
When you click OK, your Drop Shadow
(with it's transparent background) appears
on your page, but of course, it probably
won't be the right size, so press-and-hold
the Shift key, grab a corner point (as shown
here), and drag inward (or outward) to
scale the shadow down (or up) until it
fits the size of your photo.
Step 12:
Position this drop shadow so it's below
and to the right of your photo. Make sure
the hard edge of the shadow lines up
snugly with your photo, so there's no gap
between them (as seen here). Although
I had already lowered my Identity Plate
opacity by using the Opacity slider in the
Page panel, you can lower it more to make
your drop shadow lighter. Now that your
page is designed, you can save the entire
page as a high-resolution JPEG image by
going down to the Print Job panel, and
next to Print To, choose
JPEG File
from
the pop-up menu (this changes the Print
button to Print to File). That's it! So, after
all this, you're probably thinking, “You
can add drop shadows in the Slideshow
module. Why can't we just add one
here in the Print module?” Ya know, I ask
myself that same question all the time
