7.6 Conclusion
SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office provides an excellent method of transferring tables and graphs to
Microsoft products, by enabling Microsoft Office to read the SAS report files (*.srx). The *.srx files can be
generated by several of SAS products. SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office is part of SAS Enterprise Guide,
SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence Server, and SAS Enterprise Miner. These products are licensed
separately. The features described here do not require the activation of all features of SAS Business
Intelligence software, but do require a license for SAS Business Intelligence software.
