Antiochia

ANATOLIAN
Dishes from the southeastern city of Antakya (Hatay) are the speciality at this tiny (read
cramped) restaurant. Mezes are dominated by wild thyme, pomegranate syrup, olives,
walnuts and tangy homemade yoghurt, and the kebaps are equally flavoursome. There's a
20% discount at lunch.

İstanbul Modern Cafe/Restaurant
$$$
The cafe-restaurant at İstanbul's pre-eminent contemporary art museum offers an 'indus-
trial arty' vibe and great views over the Bosphorus when there are no cruise ships moored
in front. The pasta is homemade, pizzas are Italian-style and service is slick - all of which
makes for a happy dining experience. You'll need to book ahead to score a table on the
terrace.

MODERN INTERNATIONAL
A number of eateries in İstanbul attempt fusion cuisine, but few do it well; this sophistic-
ated restaurant is one that does. Most diners opt for the 10-course tasting menu ( 135 per
person, minimum 2 people), but you can also order à la carte. In summer, the action
moves to the glamorous
