2.3
Analysis on Carbon Emission Reductions Target
Although the reduction of the carbon intensity indicator has not been set as a
binding target in the 11th FYP, China has made great progress in improving carbon
intensity, with energy efficiency enhanced and energy consumption structure
optimized, accordingly, the carbon intensity improvement rate was higher than
that for energy intensity during the 11th FYP.
