The sys account is the ASM-equivalent of the UNIX root account, and its password should therefore be chosen
carefully. The ASMSNMP has been introduced in 11g Release 2 and is primarily used for monitoring the ASM instance
from Enterprise Manager. Although the installer offers you to share a common password for both accounts this is
strongly discouraged. Press “Next” to continue to the “Privileged Operating System Groups” screen.
Specify Privileged Operating System Groups
On the screen shown in Figure 6-6 you map your previously created operating system groups to privileged groups as
defined by Oracle.
