Auntie Náncsi (Hungarian for any loopy old lady) is a favourite with locals and expats alike,
and she's very much of sound mind. Located up in Hűvösvölgy, the restaurant specialises in
game in autumn and winter. In summer it's the lighter fare - lots of stuff cooked with grapes
and morello cherries - and garden seating that attracts.

modest prices. The name refers to the 'Beautiful Helen' in the ballad by poet Mihály Vörös-

as Corvinus. Alas…
