What bills itself as the 'world's longest summer festival' is a rocker's paradise in south
Buda just west of Rákóczi Bridge. The place counts nine bars as well as a pálinkaház
serving Hungarian fruit-flavoured brandies.

Tucked away beside the Rudas Baths with its Ottoman domes in full view, the seasonal
'Ruin Garden' attracts a younger crowd with its large dance area, DJs and themed nights.

There's folk music and dance at what is also called the Folklore Theatre (Folklór Színház)
on alternate Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays (see the website) at 7pm. A children's dance
house hosted by the incomparable folk group Muzsikás runs every Tuesday from 5pm to
7pm.

This venue has táncház programs several times a week (especially on Wednesday) at 8pm,
as well as concerts by big-name bands (mostly playing world music) throughout the month;
