What was until not too long ago a traditional cafe near the entrance to the Alagút (the tunnel
under Castle Hill) established the year WWI broke out has metamorphosed into a beautiful
bistro with excellent breakfasts (890Ft to 2450Ft) and more substantial meals throughout the
day. Great horseshoe-shaped bar and music, lovely terrace, open kitchen and always a warm
welcome.

This low-key restaurant in a residential Buda neighbourhood just below the Castle District
serves Provençal-style French food with a Hungarian twist. The fresh pasta dishes are usu-
ally excellent.

This place serves pretty authentic Korean food, from barbecue grills (from 4000Ft) and

It's not the most atmospheric place in town and service can be rather abrupt.
