exceed 2 kW. All plugs are of the null contact type (simple or double), inbuilt. The
plug circuit for the general use plugs is achieved with three Cu FY 2.5 mm 2
conductors protected by a tube built in the construction elements.
The metal carcasses of the thermal stations and all the metallic structural ele-
ments are connected to the leak plug. The lead-in is done with a copper conductor,
minimum 2.5 mm 2 in section. Automatic bipolar switches are
fitted into the electric
distribution panels, for the protection of the plug circuits; their thermal current is
dimensioned in keeping the necessities of every circuit (usually of 16 A) and a
differential protection of 30 mA.
3.4 Residence Energetic Environment
3.4.1 Local Climate
The energy consumption of a building depends on external factors what are climatic
parameters speci
c to the location: air temperature, air humidity, wind speed, and
sunshine. According to Romanian standard, Romania is divided into four climatic
areas. Galaţi
ţ
i city is in area III, where conventional external temperature
ϑ e is of
18 ° C.
To calculate the annual heat necessary for building and respectively, the amount
fuel for heating, the monthly medium external temperatures are used, by means of
which, the medium temperature during the period of heating
ϑ e,hs and the number
of degrees
days (HDD) are determined (Table 1 ).
The sizing of the ventilation-air conditioning installations for summer conditions
and establishing the heating-cooling charge, the average outdoor temperature spe-
ci
c to the month of July is used (Table 2 ).
Wind speed values were adopted on statistic basis, regarding the wind-temperature
concomitance, which determine four wind areas on the country territory. The wind
speed conventional values in Galaţi
ţ
i are given in Table 3 .
