rather than high-tech touches and bundles of privacy. Travel back in time aboard an antique
lift that deposits you at this charming property with a hospitality pedigree going back to the
1930s. It's a quiet place with retro furniture, plush rugs and armloads of artwork.

This budget designer hotel sits on the far western end of Kurfurstendamm shopping strip,
fairly close to the trade-fair grounds. Functional and mod rooms exude midcentury modern
retro flair imbued with lots of geometric shapes (and a muted colour scheme). Breakfast
(€15) is served in an airy 7th-floor lounge with a feast of views.
The M19 bus down Kurfürstendamm stops 50m from the hotel and the Circle Line is a
short walk away.
