Particle size distribution stability in MO/DOPE - PEG

/EPA (83/2/15 mol %) multicom-
partment nanocarrier systems was investigated upon dilution in serum-free
culture medium (DMEM) (Fig. 11.8). The formulation containing OA showed
excellent stability in the DMEM culture medium irrespective of the dilution.
The EPA-containing formulations showed the reappearance of small nanoob-
jects upon dilution in DMEM. The population of larger, multicompartment
lipid objects, supposed to be cubosomes, remained unchanged upon dilution
in cell culture medium.
