In this way, a vision acts as a force that compels a leader and team to action. It
gives a leader purpose, and the power of the vision and the leader's devotion
to it work to inspire, empower, and encourage others to work toward the vision
with purpose.
In his topic, Developing the Leader in You , John Maxwell states:
All great leaders possess two things: one, they know where they are going and two, they are
able to persuade others to follow. [9]
