Things You Wish You Had Brought
Once we started buying house goods for our new apartment, we discovered that Cambodian
beddingisnotuptothesamestandardasitisinthewesternworld.Sheetshaveaseamdown
the middle, blankets don't quite reach the end of the bed (not that you ever need them) and
pillows are lumpier than I like them. Towels also pose a challenge, as they are mostly cheap
and non-absorbent. If you can fit them in, bring them with you. In fact, bring lots of them,
since almost every expat in town is hungry for a good pair of soft pillows and a silky sheet.
