Now You Know
In this chapter we expanded on the principles that we covered in Chapter 5. There is still much
more that could be covered, but the lessons learned in this chapter have covered the essentials.
In this chapter you've learned about editing 2D and 3D families. You've created new families
and edited existing families, including assigning a new family category. You've learned about
modifying the family insertion point, the visibility of geometry for specific detail levels, and
where to create new Object Styles. And finally, you've learned to edit the wide range of 2D
families such as masking regions, title blocks, detail components, tags, and profiles.
