Shops such as Charles Jourdan, Christian Louboutin, Walter
Steiger or Stéphane Kélian offer meticulous workmanship in
styles both fashionable and classic—with prices to match.
Department stores offer a wide selection of brands and prices,
and discount shoe stores that sell end-of-the-line models and
overstock can make purchasing fashionable shoes much more
affordable. This holds true for children's shoes as well.
Look for shoe shops clustered in rue du Dragon and rue du
Cherche-Midi. Rue Meslay, near Place de la République, has
several discount shoe stores, as does boulevard Magenta. For
