The hen on the other hand has a smaller comb and wattles. Some breeds do not have a
comb. She is less colorful and her feathers are shorter. Her color is often to help her be-
come better camouflaged as she is the only one that looks after the eggs and small chicks.
Internally they will have a reproductive system that will be geared for creating eggs. They
have a universal opening for eggs, stool and urine called the cloaca.
