The Cone Tool
Because the Cone tool carries the same options as the Cylinder tool, we will deal with it very quickly. Think
of the Cone construction as a cylinder that is tapered to a point. Subdivisions work in the same way as for
the Cylinder and the Sphere tools. This one is simple enough. Now we will move on to a primitive that has
some overlooked options that make it quite useful and powerful.
The Torus Tool
The Torus tool is deceptively simple on the surface. However, by adjusting some of the settings, you can
easily create a wide variety of forms. Figure 2-9 shows the options available for the Torus tool.
