Peninsula de Lacuy (15km) & Pinqüineras de Puñihuil

(CH$2000) and bus tickets to and from the mainland
(Puerto Montt is CH$4000) include ferry passage
(otherwise the ferry is CH$10,000/car, CH$1600/bicycle;
30-40min, frequently; 24hr). Buses from villages across
Chiloé pull up at the Terminal Inter-Rural on Colo Colo,
above the Unimarc supermarket (they stop in the street,
there's no actual bus station), or in the less convenient
Terminal Municipal, at the end of Prat. See relevant
sections for specific bus details.
Destinations Castro (every 15-30min; 1hr 15min);
Dalcahue (6.05pm; 1hr); Osorno (10 daily; 3hr 30min);
Puerto Montt (every 30min; 1hr 30min-2hr); Puerto Varas

(daily 6.35pm & 7.35pm; 16hr); Valdivia (7 daily; 5hr);

lists of accommodation and attractions, as well as a list
of families participating in Agroturismo Chiloé, the
opportunity to stay in rural family homes. If Sernatur is
closed, try the tourist information kiosk underneath the
plaza bandstand (aka Glorieta) or check out W chiloe.cl.
