ment allowing for live imaging and easier analyses. They have the capability to take a variety
of quantitative measurements and can mark and number each measurement to ensure there
are no missing or duplicate data.

is a free and easy-to-use downloadable program that is also helpful in histolog-
ical research. Take care to periodically ensure that the calibration between the microscope
and image analysis software is correct. Refer to the help guide supplied with the image anal-
ysis software program you choose to use.
