ACCOMMODATION
Some of the cheapest accommodation in Cebu City is in the old
Colon Street
area, though the streets in this
neighbourhood can be a little scary at night, with roaming pimps and a number of shabby massage parlours and girlie
bars. Hotels around
Fuente Osmeña
are better, and further out, options near the
Ayala Center
and in
Lahug and
Banilad
are close to the big malls and many of the city's more fashionable restaurants.
