Making a Story
Now you have an idea for the type of MMO that you want to create. You need to
begin to fill in some gaps so that you can develop the game idea in more detail.
This in turn will help you design the game in more detail.
This section takes the three game ideas listed in Figure 3.1 and expands them, so
that each contains more in-depth information. When you are designing your
own games, you should do this on a separate document for each project. You
can use these templates, or you can amend them as you see fit.
Note
You should be careful working on multiple projects at the same time, as it can become confusing
(you may mix up concepts between games), and also be very distracting. Jumping from one idea to
another can slow down your progress on one particular idea. This isn
t a problem early on in the
development of your games, but as you delve deeper into your game design, it
