The Appearance tab options.
Note
Gubbinsare small 3D objects that can change the appearance of another 3D object. So in the case
of a medieval warrior, the gubbins could be extended shoulder pads, spikes on arm armor, add-ons
to a helmet, and so on.
Attributes
Attributes are values that can increase or decrease and can have a dramatic effect
on the player
s character. There is a set of default attributes and resistances that
are applied to each character. The great benefit of this system is that you can
give different actor groups different starting values. You can see these values in
Figure 8.5.
'
Some examples of this could be:
n Shark : High swimming attribute.
n Elephant : High strength and high toughness.
n Poison Ant : High poison resistance and high speed.
n Fire Zombie : High fire resistance but perhaps wouldn
'
t be too tough
(rotting flesh may not be tough).
