WHEN TO GO
Spring and autumn are uniformly pleasant, while summer is sweltering and muggy, and winters nasty and long.
Typhoons are a possibility from late June to September.
Arriving in Seoul
Incheon International Airport A'rex express trains to Seoul Station ₩ 13,800 (43
minutes); commuter trains ₩ 3850 (53 minutes). Bus to city-centre hotels ₩ 10,000 (one
hour); taxi around ₩ 65,000.
Gimpo International Airport A'rex trains run to Seoul Station ( ₩ 1300, 15 minutes) or
take the subway ( ₩ 1250, 35 minutes). Both bus ( ₩ 5000 to ₩ 7000) and taxi (around
₩ 35,000) will be slower - around 40 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic.
Seoul Station Long-distance trains arrive at this centrally located terminal; a taxi ride to
most nearby hotels will be under ₩ 5000.
