Diving
Dive BVI ( www.divebvi.com ; 1-/2-tank dive $85/110) at Yacht Harbour and Leverick
Bay, has several fast boats that can take you diving at any of the BVI sites.
Boat Trips
Several day-sail operators depart from Yacht Harbour and offer a variety of trips to Aneg-
ada and the Out Islands; a minimum of four to six people is required. The boats usually
stop for snorkeling breaks and lunch somewhere (food is not included in the price, though
beer and soda are).
Dive BVI ( www.divebvi.com ; (full-day trips from $85) This dive operator offers well-
run snorkel trips aboard a catamaran.
Spirit of Anegada ( www.spiritofanegada.com ; half-/full-day trips $65/95) A red-sailed
44ft schooner.
Double 'D'( www.doubledbvi.com ; full-day trips from $89) A 50ft sloop.
Tours
Andy's Virgin Gorda Tours ( 284-495-5252; www.virgingordatours.com ) offers
several options to see the island by bus, including a half-day 'Highlights' tour (per person
$16) that takes in the Baths, Savannah Bay, and Gorda Peak and Copper Mine national
parks. This is the same Andy's that operates one of the local taxi fleets.
Sleeping
Lodging is pricey on Virgin Gorda, with no real budget options during high season. The
island has loads of private villas for rent. They're typically top-end, though you might find
a few one-bedroom places for $250 per night or two-bedroom places for $400 per night.
Rentals are usually by the week.
