High on Windy Hill between Cane Garden Bay and Carrot Bay, this place has
nine spacious apartments that seem to hang out in thin air. If you like the feel of a self-con-
tained oasis with a pool, sundeck, restaurant and bar, Heritage Inn could be for you. The
villas are spacious with full kitchens, balconies and great views of the sunset over Jost Van
Dyke and St Thomas. There's a minimum stay of three nights. You will need a car to get
around from here.

Elroy and Sandra Henley designed and built this three-story apartment building on the
hillside farm that Elroy's mother once worked. Each of the six large units has a living
room, full kitchen (including a blender for frosty drinks), bath and bedroom as well as a
private balcony. The common area has books and board games, and the beach - where
lounge chairs and kayaks await guests - is a two-minute walk through a coconut palm
grove. There's a $10 surcharge to use the air-conditioning, and a three-night minimum stay
requirement.

These four peach cottages sit in a coconut grove across the road from the beach. Each
one-bedroom unit is decked out with blond wood and wicker furnishings, a kitchenette, a
dining area and patio. A three-night minimum stay is required. The office is at Myett's.

Located next to Quito's Ole Works Inn, Lighthouse's airy,
white-washed villas are a real step up. Each unit has French doors leading out onto a big
balcony, as well as a kitchen, cable TV and wired internet hookup. Even though it is by
Quito's bar, noise isn't as noticeable here as it is at the inn. Rentals are per week.
