Boat
Road Town is a hub for boat travel. It holds:
» The BVI cruise ship dock (at Wickhams Cay 1).
» The main charter boat dock (the Moorings at Wickhams Cay 2).
» The main ferry dock for boats to Virgin Gorda, Anegada and St Thomas.
To Virgin Gorda (Spanish Town) Ferries sail almost every hour during the daytime
(round trip $30, 30 minutes):

Speedy's( 284-495-5240; www.speedysbvi.com )
ToStThomas(CharlotteAmalie) Ferries depart around 6am, 10am and 2:30pm (one way
$30, 45 minutes direct). There's a $5 departure tax paid at the window by the departure
lounge:
Native Son( 284-495-4617; www.nativesonferry.com ) Goes via West End.
Road Town Fast Ferry( 284-494-2323; www.roadtownfastferry.com ) Goes direct.
Smith's Ferry( 284-494-4454; www.smithsferry.com ) Goes via West End.
Speedy's( 284-495-5240; www.speedysbvi.com ) Goes direct.
To Anegada Road Town Fast Ferry ( 284-494-2323; www.roadtownfastferry.com )
departs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:45am and 3:30pm (round trip $45, 1½ hours).
To Peter Island The Peter Island Ferry ( 284-495-2000) departs from the CSY dock
at Baughers Bay. It makes the 30-minute trip six times daily (round trip $20, free for res-
taurant customers); call for the times. To get to the dock, follow Waterfront Dr past Wick-
hams Cay 2 to Blackburn Rd.
Night Ferry from St Thomas Most ferries stop running after 5pm, but Road Town Fast
Ferry ( 284-494-2323; www.roadtownfastferry.com ) has a night service that departs
Red Hook, St Thomas at 9pm Thursday through Sunday and goes to Road Town (one way
$35).
