used tomes and local art. It doubles as a cafe, and makes a sturdy Vietnamese coffee.
Friends of the Park Store SOUVENIRS
(Mongoose Junction) Looking for paper made out of local donkey poo? Thought so. It's
here, along with shelves of other ecofriendly wares, such as purses made out of aluminum-
can pull tabs, and lots of local nature books. Proceeds go to Virgin Islands National Park.
Bamboula ACCESSORIES
(Mongoose Junction) Vibrant Bamboula sells all manner of Caribbean art, fabrics, crafts
and furniture.
St John Spice Company SOUVENIRS
(Wharfside Village) It carries your requisite fiery Caribbean hot sauces, barbecue spice
rubs and rum ball candies.
Bougainvillea CLOTHING
(Mongoose Junction) Upscale island shirts, dresses and straw hats fill the racks.

To find out about current events on the island, go to the bulletin board in front of Connec-
tions (corner of Prince St and King St), at the center of town.
Internet Access
There's free wi-fi in some of the popular drinking establishments. Also, if you sit in the
park behind Connections, you can usually pick up free wi-fi from Computer Express,
which makes its signal available to the public.
