Boat
There's only one way to reach St John: boat. All ferries arrive in Cruz Bay. Ferries from
St Thomas and the British Virgin Islands arrive at separate docks, though they are within

FROM ST THOMAS (RED HOOK)
Passenger ferries ($6 one way, 20 minutes) run al-
most every hour, starting at 6:30am until midnight. Three different companies run car fer-
ries between Red Hook and Enighed Pond beside Cruz Bay (round trip around $50, 20
minutes), with sailings almost every hour between 6am and 7pm.
FROM ST THOMAS (CHARLOTTE AMALIE)
Passenger ferries ($12 one way, 45
minutes) run three times a day from Charlotte Amalie's waterfront, departing at 10am, 1pm
and 5:30pm.
