2 . Conservation Status : All the ten species are
classifi ed under 'Least Concern' category of
IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
3 . Threats : Habitat loss due various develop-
mental activities, water pollution and use of
agrochemicals could be some of the reasons
for the depletion in population of amphibians.
