documents signed, but tender accepted

Thank you for your letter of the [

employer requests us to commence work on site pending completion of the
contract documents.
It is our understanding of the situation that we are already in a binding
contract with the employer on the basis of our tender of the [

] and an
acceptance of the [

] on terms incorporated by such tender and letter
of acceptance.
If the employer will send us written confirmation indicating agreement with
our understanding of the situation as expressed in this letter, we will be happy
to commence as requested.
