To sub-contractor, if contractor dissents from date of
practical completion
Dear
We are in receipt of your notification dated [ insert date which should not be more
the 14 days before the date of this letter ] stating that, in your opinion, practical
completion [ substitute 'completion' when using GC/Works/SC ] of the sub-contract
[ insert nature of works ] works will be achieved on [ insert date ].
Take this as formal notice, in accordance with clause 2.20.1 [ substitute
'2.14.1' when using ICSub/C, ICSub/NAM/C or ICSub/D/C or '14.1' when using
GC/Works/SC ] of the sub-contract, that we dissent from such date of practical
completion [ substitute 'completion' when using GC/Works/SC ] for the following
reasons:
