To sub-contractor, after failure of work
This letter is only suitable for use with ICSub/NAM/C, ICSub/C or
ICSub/D/C.
Dear
We have today found that the [

In accordance with clause 3.10.1 we require you to forthwith state in writing
what action you propose to immediately take at no cost to us to establish that
there is no similar failure in work already executed/materials or goods
already supplied [

].
Be aware that if you do not respond within 5 days or if we are not satisfied
with your proposals or if, because of safety considerations or statutory
obligations, we are unable to wait for your proposals, we may issue directions
requiring you at no cost to us to open up or test any work, materials or goods
to establish whether there is a similar failure including making good thereafter.
