This letter is only suitable for use with GC/Works/SC.

The issue of directions is governed by clause 4.3 which makes no provision for
oral directions nor for their confirmation by the sub-contractor. However, we
acknowledge that in this instance such a direction was given and we now
attach the direction properly issued in writing.
Please note that we have taken steps to ensure that all future directions will be
issued in writing as required under the sub-contract.
