In-Depth Information
Letter 183
To architect, if ascertainment too small
This letter is not suitable for use with MW, MWD or DB.
Dear
We refer to our notice dated [ insert date ] in respect of loss and/or expense
[ substitute 'expense' when using GC/Works/1 (1998) ]. Your [ substitute 'The quantity
surveyor's' when using GC/Works/1 (1998) ] letter of the [ insert date ] notifying us
of the amount ascertained appears to take little account of the very full
supporting information submitted by us on [ insert date or dates ].
Unless we hear from you by [ insert date ] that you will amend your
ascertainment to take account of the information we have supplied, a
dispute will have arisen which we will refer to adjudication in due course.
Yours faithfully
