To employer, requesting interest on late payment
This letter is not suitable for use with GC/Works/1 (1998).

Under the provisions of clause 4.13.6 [
substitute '4.8.5' when using IC or ICD,
'4.4' when using MW or MWD and '4.10.6' when using DB
] you are obliged to
pay us simple interest at 5% above Bank of England Base Rate current at the
date payment became overdue until the amount is paid. However, you should
note that this contractual right to interest is without prejudice to our other
rights and remedies. This letter is simply by way of notice that we have no
intention of waiving our right to interest although we intend to write to you
under separate cover if payment is not made by close of business on the day
following the date of this letter.
