To architect, if wrongly issuing instruction following failure to
carry out the work in a proper and workmanlike manner
This letter is only suitable for use with SBC.

issued under clause 3.19 of the conditions of contract.
Such instruction is only to be issued following a failure to comply with
clause 2.1 in regard to the carrying out of work in a proper and workmanlike
manner or in accordance with the construction phase plan.
Our position is that we have complied with the requirements of the contract in
this regard and although we shall, of course, comply with your instruction as
if issued under clause 3.14, we shall require payment for doing so unless you
can provide us with clear evidence of the failure to which you refer.
