We are putting the necessary amendment in hand and we will write to you
again as soon as we are in a position to value the amendment which is to be
treated as a change instruction under the provisions of clause 2.15.2.2 of the
conditions of contract. In our view, this is not an instruction to be dealt with
under supplemental provision 4. Therefore, please take this letter as notice of
delay under clause 2.24.1 and application for loss and/or expense under
clause 4.19.
