To architect, if contractor providing contractor's design documents
This letter is only suitable for use with the contractor's designed portion
of ICD or MWD.

In accordance with clause 2.10.2.1 [
substitute '2.1.5' when using MWD

conditions of contract, we enclose two copies of the following contractor's
design documents:

If there is a submission procedure stated in the contract, follow it, if there is no
procedure, add:

Please confirm within 7 days of receipt that we may proceed with construction
using these documents. Bear in mind that if you instruct us to amend any of
the documents, such amendment will be a variation to be valued under
section 5 [
substitute 'clause 3.6' when using MWD
] of the contract unless such
documents can be demonstrated to be not in accordance with the contract. If
you do not respond within 7 days, we shall proceed on the basis that you have
approved the documents.
