LoD4 is the highest level of detail, which represents the elements and space in the
building. For example, IntBuildingInstallation and Room are presented in LoD4.
The UML diagram of CityGML Building model is depicted in Fig. 3 , which repre-
sents relations between the classes, their attributes and level of details.
Although CityGML can be used to represent indoor space in LoD 4, it is not
an appropriate data model to manage indoor space facilities. CityGML may need
to define detailed classes to describe facilities in indoor space, because CityGML
data model is focusing mostly on urban space. Therefore, CityGML Building
Model needs to be expended to deal with additional classes used for indoor facility
management application.
