Workers at Cincinnati's power plant are shown leaving work after a long shift. Their only
route out of the plant is a temporary bridge built over a string of marooned Louisville and
Nashville Railroad coal cars. Workers at the plant labored all day and all night to keep vital
electric power flowing to the flood-stricken city. Even so, power had to be rationed.
