tomac Telephone Company and then rushed to a commercial print shop.
The 1913 flood inundated a number of Huntington residential neighborhoods, including this
one at Fifth Avenue and Sixteenth Street (now Hal Greer Boulevard). The Herald-Dispatch
reported that during the flood, three babies were born at the refugee center at Oley School,
only three blocks from where this photograph was taken.
