Maintenance of Partnership
Some partnerships may be finite in terms of what they set out to accomplish.
However, it is important that all partnerships be fostered in order to maintain
contact and communications for future efforts. One method of accomplishing this
is for Emergency Managers to involve partners in drills and exercises, all-hazards
planning, and training as appropriate. As previously discussed, developing and fos-
tering these relationships before a disaster strikes allows for a more efficient and
effective disaster response and recovery.
