Figure 8 demonstrates the VDEs for each cases and the mean VDE at
every 12 hr interval from all the 16 initial states of three cyclones. The mean
improvement of 21%, 25% and 34% at initial time, 24 hr and 48 hr forecast
respectively is achieved with DA experiments than the CNTL simulations.
