With this in mind, the process of interpolation is not valid for many pixels that
are located in the Alps and the Pyrenees if the criterion of altitude is taken into
consideration (Figure 2.7). In the belief that interpolation is based on multiple
regressions, it is the set of predictive variables that need to be criticized. The aim of
this criticism is to find and mark out the areas in which the process of interpolation
