parts of Korea. When using Kuo-type scheme, RegCM3 shows the maxi-
mum precipitation of 12 mm/day cover good regions of southern parts of
Korea. For EMU scheme, the model simulated the maximum precipitation
of 14 mm/day over northeast, central west and 12 mm/day over southern
parts of Korea. The observed precipitation from KMA shows maximum pre-
cipitation of 14 mm/day over southern coast and 16 mm/day over northeast
parts of Korea.
