m shifts toward shorter wavelengths compared
with the model spectra. Quirico and Schmitt

have shown that the dilution
in solid N
2
ice cause the shift of hydrocarbons' absorptions. More laboratory
experiments are needed to explore the dilution effect more quantitatively.
