In-Depth Information
The obtained results about effects in the quasi-static fi eld of the order 10 mV/m
represent a confi rmation of the new method for computation of the electric fi eld in the
atmosphere and the ionosphere over active faults proposed by Sorokin (2005, 2006).
The fi nal results of the investigations indicate that the ionospheric anomalies, as
phenomena accompanying the seismogenic processes, could be considered eventually
as possible pre-, co-, and post-earthquake effects.
