University: http://sedac.ciesin.columbia.edu/gpw/. What patterns of density of
persons per square kilometer do you notice around the planet? What are the
reasons for the patterns? The density is far from uniform. East and South Asia
stand out as the most densely populated areas, with other notably dense areas
